Dean is a CIO and CTO with over 30 years’ experience across technology, data and digital. He advises executive teams and boards on technology strategy, digital transformation, cyber resilience, AI adoption, information and technology governance, and infrastructure modernisation within regulated, high-pressure environments.
Throughout his career, Dean has worked for and alongside globally recognised businesses and brands, building complete technology functions from the ground up, along with multi-award-winning teams and products across mobile, FinTech and healthcare. He has led technology and operations teams of 300+ people and budgets of up to c.£25m, reporting directly to CEOs and boards. His leadership has supported multi-fold growth in income and revenue, a $100m+ acquisition, and sustained cost savings with technology budgets held flat.
Dean combines hands-on operational leadership with deep expertise in governance, cyber security, data and AI, positioning technology as a strategic enabler, not just a support function, that delivers measurable value and drives business growth.
